planning a bachelor party

He's tasted enough cake to have high blood sugar permanently and looked through so many bridal magazines that he could design a dress himself. A wedding is the bride is turning her childhood dreams into reality and it's the bride who is the center of a wedding.

It's not that men don't enjoy the celebration and the wedding ceremony; after all they are about to marry the woman of their dreams. But there is one aspect of this celebration specifically for the groom and that's the bachelor party. .

The bachelor party planning is about celebrating with close friends and family the transition from being a single to being married. It's the last night of freedom as a single man.

As far as planning the bachelor party, its best man is often takes on this responsibility. The best man needs to be the lead, but the ushers should be there to assist. Finding out what the groom has in mind for his last night of as a single man should be the first order of business for the best man.

It's a bit unjust and a bit of a clich to say that every groom to be is dreaming of scantily clad woman upon his lap. However, this is a big fantasy for some at their bachelor parties. Lot's of men take it as the occasion to "go out with a bang" before closing the deal as it were. But, again, this really should be the groom's choice. If he wants a last night of bachelorhood hedonism, then the best man and ushers can take it upon himself to work out the details. However, if the groom isn't into this kind of thing, there are other options available.

Maybe the groom only has eyes for his future spouse and isn't interested in seeing what other girls might have to offer. If so, head to a local casino instead of a gentleman's club. At a casino, you can have your gamble, grab a snack, and get your drink on too.

Of course, heading to the batting cage or local sporting event is another option. Sure, there's no eats or alcohol, but you can take care of that later. Think about getting all of the guys together for a hard-core game of paint ball. It's a great way to spend an evening collectively and cool some nerves. You can avoid the problem of who has to be designated driver by hiring a limo. That way everybody at the party gets to let their hair down and have fun.

So, who do you invite to the bachelor party? The groom, the bride's father, and any other male family members are undoubtedly on the list. The ushers are other obvious names on the invite list. When in doubt about the bachelor party guest list, consult the bride to be. Not only can she give you an entire list of appropriate people to invite, but she can probably supply addresses and telephone numbers too.

Since you've already got the ball rolling, you might as well take the opportunity to discover what sort of bachelor party business would upset her. If you're a true mate, you won't want to cause any future problems.

Lots of guys do great planning the party until it comes to the guest list and who's getting the bill. Deciding who pays can be a bit touchy. Maybe luck will be with you and either the bride's or the groom's father will offer to pay for the whole night. If you're not quite so lucky, estimate the overall cost of the bachelor party and then split it equally among everybody who will be in attendance. Leave the groom out of your accounting; you don't want him paying for anything. Remember to figure in relative cost of tips at each separate activity.

Whatever else the bachelor party may entail, it is the time to chill and have fun. It's all about celebrating with good friends as groom gets ready to take on a new roll and responsibilities in his life. So be the best man you can be and plan an event to remember which will make the groom, and hopefully the bride, happy.
